Why isn’t there jewelry in natural colors of metal?

It was right before Christmas 2023, and I was hunting for jewelry to match my Christmas dinner outfit—my little “holiday armor.” I wanted colorful earrings to complete the look.
Gemstones? Too pricey. Crystals? Too flashy. PVD coating? Fades and smells weird.
And that’s when it hit me: Why isn’t there jewelry in natural colors of metal itself? At that time, I was two years out of NYU, working long hours at an internet company. Life was hectic, but this question about color stayed with me—like a seed that wouldn’t stop growing.I began diving deep: materials science, physics, anything I could find. That’s when I discovered titanium. It’s light, hypoallergenic, and when you oxidize it… it turns into natural rainbow shades.My heart skipped a beat. Why wasn’t anyone making jewelry with this? That mix of thrill and uncertainty marked the true beginning of my entrepreneurial journey.

Dreams won’t let you chill anyway.

Through research, I found titanium could create natural colors. But there was a catch: the texture felt off, and its hardness made processing nearly impossible. Two mountains stood right in front of me.(A new land, but guarded by two impossible peaks…)

Step the realm of futuristic jewelry to unveil new technological advancements

Hope was made to be challenged. 

With a solution in hand, we started testing our first batch—V1. On paper, everything looked perfect. But when we held the actual piece, our first reaction was simple:it was ugly. No sparkle, no soul. We never expected this would turn into six months of nonstop testing.

The ugly baby started to glow.

Color turned out to be the hardest part of titanium jewelry. Layering, stability, shine, and touch—none of them worked together. From C1 to C25, every batch failed on at least one front. At times, we wondered if the problem was unsolvable, and maybe that’s why nobody had done it before.

The first smile, The first brave leap.

In October 2024, we finally held a sample we could smile at. The colors felt alive, like titanium’s soul had awakened. That day, I made a choice: to quit my job and go all in on this dream.

TIZZ DAZZ launched

Truly falling in love with my own creations.

In the early days of full-time entrepreneurship, our biggest task was expanding the collection. Not just the first cross, but rings, earrings, necklaces—one by one, they came alive. Each piece felt like part of a growing family of creations, and I couldn’t help but fall in love with them all.

The first time I pressed “Publish.”

In November 2024, we launched the very first version of the TIZZ DAZZ website. It was rough, minimal, and imperfect—but it was real. Our Instagram account was registered too, though we weren’t fully ready yet. Still, the moment we hit “Publish,” TIZZ DAZZ took its very first breath in the world.

Extreme tests gave us unshakable confidence.

In March 2025, we put TIZZ DAZZ through extreme “real life” tests: soaking in saltwater for 30 days, spraying perfume 50 times over a week, and leaving it under harsh sunlight for 7 days. The result? Not a trace of fading. Still shining, still strong. That was the moment we knew: TIZZ DAZZ could truly keep its promise.

Do we protect our costs, or protect our customers?

In June 2025, we entered our first big upgrade of policies and packaging. The debates were intense: 15 days or 30? Should we charge fees on returns? Minimalist or luxurious packaging? In the end, we chose what felt right for customers: 30 days of free returns, no hidden costs, and packaging with a touch of ceremony.

From a store to a way of life.

In July 2025, we launched our biggest website redesign yet—and with it, a new slogan. We moved from “Wear the dazz, be the dazz” to “Color My Way.” Why? Because it’s not about wearing TIZZ DAZZ to become dazzling. It’s about believing you already are. Our jewelry is simply the canvas you choose to show your true colors.

Finally, TIZZ DAZZ came to life.

On August 31, 2025, after countless late nights and endless work—shooting, writing, planning—we finally did it. The first posts went live on the TIZZ DAZZ Instagram. That was the moment we officially set sail.
